I am officially approaching my eighth month of going completely natural. And let me tell you, It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Trust me, fully transitioning to natural hair was fairly hard for me, I suffered from extreme heat and color damage, therefore having to cut most of my hair off, with my first ever "Deva Cut." My stylist gave me a couple of products, that really helped to speed up my transition of going fully natural. I still use the same products to this day, because they are just so damn good! Now that I have a curly pixie cut, it's easier to manage and take care of, however, I always have to make sure my hair is looking right. There are only two products that I use when washing my hair. Deva Curl's Ultra Moisturizing Milk Cleanser, Is a perfect product for substituting shampoo. It's cleansing supplements help restore your hair's natural oils, without stripping away any moisture (That is Key). Deva Curl's Decadence line, (In my opinion) is probably one of there best. The Ultra Moisturizing Milk Conditioner is perfect for giving your hair that extra plump of moisture that it needs. I typically leave this in for about 5-10 minutes before washing out and styling. For styling, I use Deva Curls "B-Leave In", to define my curls, while also nourishing the ends. This particular product is great for giving off a fuller curly effect, that also provides great amounts of moisture to your hair. Lastly I use the OGX Argan Oil Creamy Hair Butter for styling as well, which is great for repairing dry or damaged hair, that hydrates and nourishes. When Styling I always prefer leaving this product in my hair for a better result. Once I am finished, I wrap my hair with a silk scarf to leave as much shine and moisture as I possibly can for an amazing end look.
